Agata Kalinowska

I’m a cultural studies graduate with a great passion for cultural phenomenons, searching for stories that move me. I strongly believe that good photography is about personal attachment, affection even, and it works on both micro and maxi scale. This is why I photograph people around me, mostly from precariat, working either to avoid being too much caught up in the current system or being a victim of their humanistic education and shrinking of art/humanistic sector of the market (or low self -esteem and not being predatory enough). I personally still work in catering business and somehow that long-term experience became my own story. A friend called us once upper working class and I’d still drink to that.
